What is Walk To Fight Parkinson's?

Walk to Fight Parkinson’s is an opportunity for every family in our ACT community to come together and raise vital funds for people living with Parkinson’s.

The Walk is open to everyone of all ages and abilities. You can choose to walk, run, Nordic Walk or roll in the 1.6km or 5km tracks. Carers are also welcome and free with a paying walker!

Walk to Fight Parkinson's is a fundraiser for The Hospital Research Foundation Group – Parkinson’s. One step at a time, we can maximise choice, independence, mental health and wellbeing for people impacted by Parkinson’s or other neurological disorders in the ACT.

Every dollar raised from Walk to Fight Parkinson’s will help support the 2000+ people living with Parkinson’s in Canberra continue to live long and rewarding lives.

There's a Walk to suit you, no matter your fitness level! Grab a family ticket and get everyone on the track!

You can also choose to register a support companion at no cost if you require assistance.

Our 1.6km course is perfect for all abilities and fitness levels.

Walk or Run - 5km

Enjoy a bit of a challenge? Step out with our 5km walk!

Nordic Walk - 1.6km or 5km

Are you familiar with Nordic Walking Federation Competition rules and have all the gear? Register for our Nordic Walk.

Event Village

Event Village is open from 8am.

All walking events will start between 9.30am and 10.30am.

Keep an eye after registration for exact event times. The final schedule will be sent via email closer to the event.
